In the past, air-supported domes were commonly built with a white exterior. However, we now provide a wider range of colors and patterns for our clients to choose from. For instance, green is a popular choice for those who want the dome to blend in with a forested environment, while sandstone can effectively conceal dust accumulation in arid areas. In addition, we can integrate prominent corporate logos onto the dome's exterior to increase brand exposure, particularly in high-traffic areas. Air domes can even be fitted on top of buildings or on verticle walls. In the example below the air dome was fixed at 1.6m in height on a vertical wall on 2 sides and fixed at 1.4m in height on the other side

Skylights are translucent panel sections to bring in natural light during daytime hours that will improve the interior aesthetic of the building and reduce costs associated with operating all or some of the interior lighting. The skylight can be altered to be larger or smaller depending on needs and local climate.

Robust Materials: High-strength, UV-resistant, and fire-retardant.
Advanced Air Pressure Systems: Ensuring stability and safety.
Energy Efficiency: Excellent insulation and ventilation.
Customizable Designs: Tailored to meet specific needs.

Every structure needs a solid foundation to keep it anchored and secure. Our structures can be anchored with rings + metal tubes, metal L profiles or grade beams. We can offer also more advanced foundations options which are classified as 100 percent temporary, can be relocatable and repurposed on other location. This anchoring option is environmentally sensitive, as the anchors can be removed without disturbing the surrounding area, typically without a requirement for a building permit

HeroX priorities reliability and safety, ensuring an uninterrupted power supply.
We use heavy-duty, outdoor units designed for harsh climates. They use hermetic scroll compressors and come in 19 models with capacities from 5 to 65 TR (60 Hz). Operating in ambient temperatures from 50ยฐF (10ยฐC) up to 120ยฐF (48.8ยฐC) (and potentially lower with an optional head-pressure control), these units are well-suited for large spaces like warehouses, halls, or schools, where robust performance is essential.
Door come in many shapes and sizes, most air domes need a tunnel door or revolving door and an emergency door. More doors can be added and in special cases vehicle/truck airlock access doors can be fitted.

Dome installation requires a team of labourers, equipment, and utilities. Cost depends on time needed. Owners can reduce costs by providing volunteers.
This is an estimate how many man hours are typically required for a few dimensions:
Permanent domes last ~25-30 years. Seasonal domes last ~20 years.

(1) Initial Scope Discussion
Discuss dome size, use, occupancy, vehicle access, timeline, and funding.
(2) Design & Engineering
Engineer the dome, inflation, HVAC, lighting, and foundation based on your needs.
(3) Production & Site Work
Manufacture the dome while preparing the site for installation.
(4) Transportation & Installation
Deliver the dome and have our experts install it, taking 2 days to several weeks.

Air domes offer a cost-effective alternative to traditional buildings, with prices starting from $11 with a typical range between $15 to $25 per square foot. This makes them one of the most affordable large-scale covering solutions available, providing significant savings on upfront capital expenditures.
โ
Inflation unit costs: $0.10-$0.20/sq.ft. per year
Utilities (lights, HVAC): $0.50-$1.50/sq.ft. per year. Heating costs vary by fuel type, hours, and climate.
Regular inspections and annual HVAC servicing required.
Costs can vary widely based on dome, usage, and rates.
